So far, so good! I adore this mixer. I have made two of the recipes in the cookbook that came with it, and they turned out perfectly. It does an amazing job kneading dough, I have made cinnamon roll dough with it and I do not have to touch it, every last speck of flour is kneaded in and turns out great! The mixer is a little loud, which I expected, and heats up a bit with hard batches but so far I have had no problems at all. Love how it ramps up and love how I can walk away or clean up my kitchen mess while it is going and it just shuts off when it is done! That is so nice! So I would say all in all, it kicks my kitchen Aid in the behind!! I am very pleased with this machine, worth every penny.

The mixer works great and has a lot of very nice features. The only issue with it is that it is not brushed chrome as listed. The finish is nothing like my brushed chrome toaster, coffee maker, or microwave. It has a silver/grey painted finish. It is not brushed chrome.

Just what I hoped for - James D. Beswetherick - Michigan
It was worth the research and the price. It works hard without overheating, has excellent capacity and practical accessories. Cookies were the first test, then bread dough...through it all the motor barely warmed. I have a feeling this is one of those purchases we've made that will be handed down to the next generation of cooks or bakers. Well done Cuisinart...and no, I have not been paid for this review :)

A new addition to our kitchen, we are VERY impressed with the performance of this mixer. It's extremely quiet, and the very large motor has plenty of power for just about anything. For years, KitchenAid was the only choice in the large mixer market, but since they started making all of them overseas, quality just isn't there, anymore. In fact, we started out with a KitchenAid, and decided to return it to the store where purchased. br /br /The Hamilton Beach 63220 Mixer will not let you down. It is a breeze to operate. It is quite heavy duty, being about the same size as most of the smaller model KitchenAid models. Plan accordingly for storage.br /br /This model has remained essentially unchanged for a few years now. My unit was manufactured in Canada. I feel more confident about quality than I ever would from the current KitchenAid models.

I've had my Sunbeam Mixmaster Standmixer w/Burst for at least 4 years now, used it dozens of times, and have never had any problems (better production year maybe?). It has all the fancy attachments...but I've never used them. Probably because I forgot I have them! Mixers only came with one set of beaters when I was growing up and you mixed/beat/whipped EVERYTHING with that ONE set. That's what I still do. In fact, tonight I made chocolate chip cookie dough using the standard beaters...they came out PERFECT! Some of you may have a problem with it tipping over after you remove the bowl because the mixer head IS a bit heavy for the stand (after all, it is only hollow plastic). But if you drop the head back down after using (and for storing) you should be all right. I'm getting ready to buy one of these mixers for my mother-in-law because she really liked mine. Hope she has the same good luck!

I bought mine about 6 years ago and it has not caused me any trouble. I never want to use another mixer. It powers through my toughest/largest batters. The burst of speed is incredible. This mixer has never failed me. These newer versions must not have been manufactured as well.

Happy at First then the Motor Burnt Out 2 Times - Yannuch - New York
I bought this blender and loved it - the first one I had for a year. Then the motor burnt out when my son was making cookies. I thought he ran it for too long when the dough was too thick. So I bought the same blender again. The second time the motor burnt out the first time I ran it - when I had just turned it on. Obviously I returned it. Now I'm looking for a more durable blender.
