I needed a hand mixer with a wisk attachment to whip egg whites, heavy cream and ice cream mix. I wanted power and low price. This mixer met those conditions so I bought it. The first time out I mixed some cake batter perfectly. The second time I whipped some heavy cream so quickly I was amazed. I was only using the 2nd and 3rd power levels.br /I have not had batter flying around the room and the motor, so far, sounds fine. It feels good in my hand and it easy to use.

Black Decker MX95K PowerPro 230-Watt Spatula Mixer Feature

  • 5 speeds for mixing, beating, and whipping
  • Powered by 230 watts; soft handle insert provides firm, comfortable grip
  • Dishwasher-safe, chrome-plated, professional-style wire beaters
  • Includes detachable spatula for scraping bowl while mixing
  • Measures 7 by 9-1/2 by 10-1/4 inches
Equipped with professional-style, chrome-plated wire beaters and powered by 230 watts, this five-speed hand mixer with power boost performs any stirring, mixing, beating, or whipping task. With this tool, you can mix ingredients wherever they sit rather than moving ingredients into a stand mixer's bowl. Stir cookie dough, combine muffin mixes, mix cake batters, beat frostings, and whip egg whites and cream in their own bowls. For thin and medium batters, a plastic spatula attaches to the beaters to scrape ingredients from a bowl's sides into the beaters. The mixer's handle is angled to keep the wrist straight and prevent fatigue, and the top is rubberized for comfort. The beaters go into the dishwasher, completing the circle of convenience the mixer adds to a kitchen. The mixer is 7 inches high without beaters, and both it and the accessories store in a hard-plastic, 9-1/2-by-10-1/4-inch case. I--Fred Brack/I

Lasted ONE DAY! - mellsbells -
I was so excited when I bought this. I used it to make 2 batches of sugar cookies and it broke right in the middle of the second batch. I wasn't thrilled with it anyway since even on 1 it spins so fast that batter goes flying. When it croaked halfway through my second batch of cookies that sealed the deal for me and I thought I have got to warn other unsuspecting people of this horrible product! So here I am warning you. This is not worth the money!!!
