I PURCHASED THIS MIXER FOR THE PURPOSE OF USING FOR HEAVY DUTY MIXING JOBS. I MAKE CANDY AS A BUSINESS, AND THIS MIXER DOES NOT STAND UP TO THE TEST. I CAN NOTbr /EVEN MAKE DIVINITY WITH IT, WHICH IS ONE OF MY BEST SELLERS. THIS CANDY REQUIRES CONSTANT MIXING AT HIGH SPEED FOR APPROXIMATELY 14-16 MINUTES AND THIS MIXER CANNOT HANDLE THE STRESS. IT MAKES LOUD STRAINING NOISES WHEN I TRY TO USE IT. I WISH I HADN'T BOUGHT IT. I NEED SOMETHING MUCH MORE POWERFULL.

The mixer is cheap and does the job. I do have problems getting it to spin at times. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and I got what I paid for a cheap mixer.
